Sustainability has become an increasingly important component of requirements for the rehabilitation bridge structures. Responsible use our limited natural resources is essential future generations, so whole process must be taken into account, in terms structural integrity. The environmental impact these types structures major – demolition and reconsideration e.g. reinforced concrete structure being examples poor management energy. On existing roads railways network steel bridges with more than 100 years service lifetime are numerous. in-service safety assessment a complex problem. This article emphasizes importance rehabilitating bridges, considering historical monument character structures, as well reuse part sustainable development. paper presenting study case riveted build beginning twentieth century, method integrity by means fracture mechanics.
